Applications for Droplet Sizing:

Manual Versus Automated Actuation of Nasal Sprays

Research shows, drugs that are delivered through the nasal route oftentimes can alleviate local disorders such as sinus congestion and allergic rhinitis. With this knowledge, it is important to next determine the best application method for droplet sizing. In this study, two nasal spray pumps were used to evaluate the effectiveness of manual and automated actuation and the effects of variations in actuation parameters.
